Lời Tòa Soạn: Trong chiều hướng đẩy mạnh xuất khẩu sản phẩm nông nghiệp của chính phủ Nam Úc sang các nước Á Châu. Chính phủ tiểu bang đã và đang hoạch định chương trình xuất khẩu rau quả sang Malaysia, Singapore, Hongkong, Việt Nam..v..v... Vào ngày 22/02/2016, một phái đoàn thương mại tư nhân Việt Nam đến Virginia quan hệ nhập khẩu hạt giống vào Việt Nam qua công ty 4 Ways Fresh Produce Zaden Australia. Sau cuộc gặp gở với các đại diện chính quyền tiểu bang Nam Úc, phái đoàn được các đối tác thương mại thết đãi ăn tối tại nhà hàng Citizen Restaurant trên đường King William. Đây là khởi đầu cho chương trình đẩy mạnh xuất khẩu do thủ hiến Jay Weatherill chú tâm. Diễn đàn Nông Gia Việt Nam-Nam Úc nhận được bản tin nầy từ Hiệp Hội Xuất Khẩu Rau Quả tiểu bang Nam Úc. BBT DĐNGVNSA đăng tải trên Đặc Trang Nông Gia như một thông tin phổ biến đến bà con Nông Gia ở Nam Úc biết tin mừng.

WITHIN THE FARMING COMMUNITY

Two South Australian Companies have an opportunity to export seeds into Vietnam.

Between 20/2/16-22/2/16 South Australian Companies 4 Ways Fresh Produce and Zaden Australia have been hosting a tour  for two companies

from Vietnam, KPA  and Quang Loc to promote South Australian Farming Industries. The tour includes visits to numerous farm around Virginia, seeing the Barossa wine region and the many farms in the Adelaide Hills. The meeting concludes with a dinner on the night of the 22nd Feb at the Citi-zen Restaurant on King William Street where a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the private companies from two countries to work towards exporting vegetables seeds and horticultural consulting to the farmers in Vietnam. This highly anticipated export opportunity was made possible as a result of Mr Ly Hoang Duy (CEO of 4 Ways) and Mr Kingsley Songer (General Manager of 4 Ways) joined a large delegation of South Australian busineses together with the Premier Jay Weatherill and the Trade Minister Martin Hamilton Smith on a trade mission to SE Asia. Mr Steve Hauber (director of Zaden Australia) also visited Vietnam in 2015 and realised great seed export potential to Vietnam which led to this week's event.
Representing South Australian companies Mr Ly Hoang Duy welcome the future business prospects and the business venture, if successful, will bring financial and community benefits to both South Australia and Vietnam. Mr Ly thanked the local governments for the opportunities and also encouraged other South Australian companies to participate on future trade missions around the world and see what opportunities are out there.
The Mayor of Playford, Glen Docherty, in his speech welcomes the business opportunity to the northern plains and wishing the joint venture will be "fruitful".
Mr Le Van Phuoc, representing the Vietnam business delegation, in his speech, shown a video footage to show the crowd of all the beautiful scenries and the Vietnam government's intention to improve the farming and tourism industry and welcome any Australian inputs. Mr Le, concluded by thanking 4 Ways for hosting the 3 days event and looking forward to a long term successful relationship.
Mr Micheal Guerin, (Director, SE Asia, International Engagement &Trade from the Department of State Development) concluded the formal speech expressed of his great pleasure to witness business leads as a result of the trade mission. Mr Guerin ađed that it is the kind of results that the Premier and the Trade Minister would like to see occur as a result of SA Businesses venturing oversea to seek new export markets. Mr Guerin concluded by saying he and his department are ready to provide assistants and would like to receive regular updates on further developments after this MOU signing.
Full course foods, South Australian beers and wines were served and everyone expressed their commendations to the team at 4 Ways Fresh Produce and Zaden Australia, It is a South Australian good news story worth celebrating about.
